Revin cu a ultima postare din concediul nostru in Thailanda.
Si cum erau valuri in larg era foarte palpitant (ma stiti pe mine cu adrenalina – bungee, saritura in tandem, etc 🙂 ).
I’m back again with the last post in my Thailand series. If you want to see what we were up to on the rest of our trip you can click HERE and HERE. In the last one I did a small review of the company we went on our boat trip, so I will not repeat myself here 🙂
So as I said, this was our second trip with the same company. We don’t really have a lot of pictures from this trip, due to the fact that it involved a lot of snorkeling and we filmed more. But still, I have some pictures that i want to share with you 🙂
We visited another location that sometimes shows up on websites with expectation vs reality, Maya Bay. Even tough we got there around 7 a.m., it wasn’t quite like the other trip where we were the only boat there, but it was still enjoyable. It was too bad that we left just as the sun was peaking through over the cliff. Since the water was a gorgeous turquoise color it would have looked amazing with the sun shining.
The trip from this post is called “Phi Phi Sunrise” on their website. They picked us up from the hotel at 5 a.m. and I think they brought us back in the afternoon at about 3 p.m. It was a fun day. We arrived just after the sunrise on Maya Bay where we had breakfast(fruit, sandwiches and banana sponge cake), we snorkeled in a few locations, we went to see the monkeys at Monkey Beach (too bad we couldn’t land because off the tide but we still had a laugh there), we went on Phi Phi island were we had a lovely traditional lunch, similar to the one we had on the previous trip and then we went to an awesome lagoon (Phileh Lagoon) where we got to swim and jump off of the boat in an awesome crystal clear water which was also very salty 🙂
What was really fun was that because all of us on the boar were quite young, they put some music on the way back and they came really fast (for about an hour). And since there were a lot of waves on the sea it was really exciting (you know me and adrenaline – bungee jumping, tandem skydiving, etc 🙂 ). If you didn’t hold on you fell over :)) You couldn’t even stand up.
Anyway.. I really liked this trip. Even if it wasn’t as well organised as the other one, it was still awesome.
